We work with a range of global partners to coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products from the healthcare industry to those who would otherwise have no access in the developing world. IHP responds rapidly to humanitarian disasters, supports long-term healthcare development projects in developing countries and equips doctors with supplies for short-term overseas medical missions.
Delivering critical medicines wherever they’re needed.
Access to essential medicines can be a vital lifeline for communities in remote, hard-to-reach areas, and for people living in crowded refugee camps or coping in the wake of a disaster. One of the ways we respond to these situations is through our Essential Health Packs (EHPs); a pre-packed kit comprising two boxes filled with a range of medicines essential to support critical primary health care delivery in any setting.
Packs are highly durable and portable and can be transported wherever they are needed to act as a mobile pharmacy. They can even be carried onto a commercial airline as part of an individual’s checked luggage. Each pack contains a minimum of 800 courses of treatments, including a broad assortment of over-the-counter and prescription medicines: antibiotics, analgesics, anti-inflammatories, antifungals and anti-parasitics.
Could you help save lives by taking an Essential Health Pack somewhere that healthcare access is limited? To find out how to become an EHP carrier or to donate product please get in touch.
Thank you for supporting Cambridge Global Health Partnerships. You can choose to donate regularly by direct debit, or make a one-off donation. If you have any questions or want to find out more, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or +44 1223 217757.
Your gift will make a difference in some of the poorest parts of the world, as well as enabling our volunteers to develop valuable new skills and expertise, which they will bring back to the UK health services.Click here to donate
