We are looking for a midwife, nurse, or doctor based in the East of England to be involved on a voluntary basis in a maternal and neonatal guidelines project in Kampala, Uganda and Cambridge, UK.
This project is within an established health partnership between Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge Global Health Partnerships, Makerere University Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Kawempe National Referral Hospital and Mulago Specialised Women and Neonatal Hospital.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience and understanding of developing and adhering to maternity care guidelines.
- Have experience of auditing.
- Be interested and / or already engaged in global health work.
- Have experience of working in different cultural setting to their own.
If you are able to, you will have the opportunity to travel to Kampala in late May or early June for one week.
