Stroke medicine is an area of healthcare dedicated to reducing the burden of stroke through prevention – including identifying and managing risk factors, acute care, rehabilitation, and ongoing management. The goal is to improve outcomes for stroke patients and enhance their overall quality of life. The CGHP-supported Bo Stroke Partnership is working to recruit and train nursing staff who can better support and improve outcomes for stroke patients in Sierra Leone.
