Global Health: Principles in Practice
An interactive, half-day workshop where you’ll discover more about partnership working, best practice and ethics in global health.
CGHP’s Principles in Practice workshop is for healthcare staff and academic clinicians of all levels and cadres who are interested, in the early planning stages, or who’ve recently participated, in global health work.
The interactive, half-day workshop provides a vital introduction to the principles that guide best practice and the necessary steps to ensure health partnership activity is safe, effective, and ethical.
You’ll learn about CGHP, our values, and where and how we currently work with partners in the UK and around the world. Plus, you’ll hear directly from our members: the people involved in CGHP-supported global health projects all over the world. Speakers include pharmacists, nurses, doctors and allied health professionals who’ll describe their experiences in global health, how they ensure their work is safe, effective and ethical, and the learning and development they’ve gained along the way.
The workshop is also an opportunity to meet others who are beginning their global health journey and to consider where and how you’d most like to contribute.
Lunch is provided so please let us know any dietary requirements when booking your place.
