As part of the conference, the poster competition offers an opportunity to recognise, share and celebrate the many different ways of contributing to global health.
Posters can be entered into one of three categories:
- Category 1: Global health research
- Category 2: Global health education
- Category 3: Global health practice
How to enter
To enter the competition, you will first need to submit an abstract outlining your work (maximum 250 words).
Your abstract should clearly address:
- The challenge: What issue or problem are you tackling?
- The approach/solution: What did you do?
- The impact: What difference has this made (or is expected to make)?
- Key learnings: What insights or lessons have emerged from this work?
Shortlisted abstracts will be invited to prepare a poster to present. The best 3 abstracts will be invited to present their work as an oral presentation.

Prizes
- £150 for the winner of each category
Prize winners will be announced at the conference.
All shortlisted posters will also be made available online on the CGHP website.
Eligibility
We welcome submissions from students, academics and healthcare professionals working in global health in the UK or internationally.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring all images used are appropriately licensed.
